•     innovational technologies in raw materials preparation and blast-furnace production;
•     innovational and resource-saving technologies in steel production;

3. Problems and ways of enhancement of non-ferrous metallurgy technologies based on ecologically safe resource-saving processes;

•     obtaining high-quality metals and alloys;
•     mineral and concentrate recycling with extraction of attendant components;
•     innovational and resource-saving technologies of rare metals extraction from mineral and technognic raw materials and obtaining alloys on thier basis

4. New technologies and materials with enhanced functional characteristics, including powdery, anticorroding metal protection;
5. Modern technologies and equipment for utilization technogenic wastes with extraction of valuable components;
6. Youth section with elements of school for young scientists
